Estrogen dependent tumours (incl. anamnestic), liver diseases, women with increased coronary risk and risk of thrombosis or similar diseases (individual decision).

Ethinylestradiol/Progestogen: Cautions

If possible always take the drug at the same time of day. No oral contraceptives should be taken four weeks before surgery that involves a risk of thromboses; two to four week break after an operation or giving birth.
