Our Comment:
If rigor and hypokinesia are the main problems many neurologists like to give levodopa early. The specialists still do not agree if an early beginning of the levodopa treatment compromises the later development. It is a fact, however, that the initial success of a levodopa treatment is frequently followed by obstinate problems. These cases represent a challenge to the therapeutical skills of experienced neurologists.
