Same doses for i.m. and i.v. administration (injection or short infusion). Do not mix with other drugs! According to certain studies netilmicin can be given in 1 or 2 daily doses.
*High dose initial treatment only as long as indicated (mostly for 48 hours).
**In general, treatment should be kept as short as possible (7 to 14 days).
